Dear participants,
registration for the 867. Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Seminar on "Quantum Electron-Photon Interactions" is free of charge for invited speakers as well as for regular participants. WE Heraeus Foundation also kindly supports the accommodation of the participants.
Accommodation:
All the participants will be accommodated in hotel Pulse8, Sokolovská 54/112, 186 00 Praha (https://www.hotelpulse8.cz/en). The accommodation costs for regular participants and invited speakers will be covered by WE Heraeus Foundation. As a default option for regular participants we booked double rooms with split beds. The rooms will be distributed according to gender. If you prefer to stay in a single room, please let us know via the registration form. However, the number of single rooms in the conference hotel is limited and the upgrade to a single room is not guaranteed by the organizers and will not be covered by the support from WE Heraeus Foundation (each participant requesting such upgrade has to pay an additional costs of 500,- Eur for the accommodation).
Venue:
The seminar will take place in a historical site of the Charles University, Karolinum, Ovocný trh 560/5, 11636 Prague 1.
The venue is accessible from the conference hotel by metro, line B, from station Křižíkova to Náměstí Republiky + 10 minutes walking or by tram, lines 8, station Urxova to Náměstí Republiky + 10 minutes walking.
Other information:
Welcome reception: Monday 21.9. at 7 pm in the conference hotel
Conference dinner: Tuesday 22.9. at 7 pm in the oldest brewery in Prague - U Fleků, Křemencova 11, 11000 Prague 1 (https://ufleku.cz/).
Social event: Wednesday at 3 pm, visit of Prague castle (please indicate if you want to join in the registration form)
Accompanying persons: If you want to register an accompanying person, who will join the welcome reception, conference dinner and visit of Prague castle, indicate so during the registration (first please select double room option). The price per accompanying person is 500 Eur (price includes also accommodation in the conference hotel).

Poster: standard A0 size (up to 130x96 cm) + poster flash - introducing the poster on stage within 90 seconds with up to 2 slides
Hot-topic talk: 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
Invited talk: 30 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
